Help & Healing After Losing A Loved One

Hope In the Lord: Prayer Group for Widow(er)s

This prayer group for widows & widowers meets the 2nd Wed of every month from 6-7PM in the Fireside Room (in the lower level of the St. Peter church). We read and pray with the upcoming Sunday's Gospel and how it can help us on our journey to being reuinted with our loved one in heaven. Open to all. You do not need to be an MBS parishioner to join. Led by Deacon Rick Hocking.

Grief & Loss Support Group

Join us the 2nd & 4th Tuesday of the month for ongoing support group for those grieving the loss of a loved one. Group meets twice a month at St. Raphael Church.

Funeral services at MBS Parish in Oshkosh, WI

Losing a loved one is one of life’s most difficult experiences. Most Blessed Sacrament is here to help you and your family with your loss through listening, prayer and arranging a Funeral Mass.

To begin the process of planning a funeral for a deceased loved one, contact the funeral home you have chosen and they will call the Parish Office to arrange a date and time for the Funeral Mass. Contact information will be provided to the Parish so we may call you and arrange a time to discuss the funeral liturgy, music and readings.

If you are in need of a listening presence, our trained Care Ministers are available to meet with you at your convenience. Please call Laurie at the Parish office: (920) 231-9782.
Cemetery Memorial Masses

Our annual summer memorial Masses offer the opportunity to participate and pray for family members and friends who have moved on from this life. You are welcome to attend even if you do not presently have loved ones in a particular cemetery.
Prayers and participation in these Masses is a powerful witness to the important role of praying for the dead, and to our Catholic faith in a life with Christ after death.
