What is Holy Matrimony?Marriage is the covenant between a man and woman in the eyes of the Church. It establishes a partnership for the rest of their earthly lives, so that spouses can help and support one another and any children God may give them.

Why is Holy Matrimony Important?Catholic marriage is strengthened by divine grace so that it becomes a living expression of the love between God and His Church. Marriage within the Church seals the spouses’ consent to give themselves to each other through the offering of their own lives by uniting it to the offering of Christ for his Church in the Eucharist.

Who Can Receive Holy Matrimony?
A baptized man and woman may seek to be married. Marriage in the Catholic Church requires full consent of both parties, freedom to marry and preparation classes through the Church.

First, congratulations on your engagement!
The Sacrament of Marriage may take place on any given weekend providing the site is available. Weddings may be held at the Saint Peter or Saint Mary site on Saturdays at 1:00 PM or on another day if desired.
Arrangements are made through the MBS Parish office. Please call at least 6 months prior to your wedding to secure a date and begin the initial steps of your wedding preparation. You may call 920-231-9782 or fill out our online form to begin the registration process.
