"Every holy Mass, heard with devotion, produces in our souls marvelous effects, abundant spiritual and material graces which we, ourselves, do not know."
- Saint Padre Pio
One of the most amazing things about the Catholic faith is that no matter where you attend Mass you can be confident that it will be familiar. The language and the church building may be different, but the Mass parts and structure transcend all geographical boundaries.
At Most Blessed Sacrament we have two beautiful worship sites in which to celebrate Mass. At both sites, Mass is celebrated in a joy-filled, reverent manner.
Pipe organ and piano, along with occasional brass ensembles, are used to enhance the Mass experience. Cantors and our choir will help you raise your voice to sing God’s praise.
If you are new to our parish or are considering becoming Catholic, our worship aids can guide you through each part of the Mass. Grab a worship aid, grab a pew and get ready to build your relationship with Jesus.
An Extraordinary Ministry of the Eucharist distributes communion to parishioners and sets the tone for the proper reverence of this greatest of gifts, the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist. A job done well enriches the reception of Holy Communion and the worship experience of those present.
A Lector proclaims the words of Sacred Scripture that is central to our Catholic faith. A Lector has the awesome privilege to be the “voice of God” in the Mass readings. A job done well enriches the Mass experience of all those who hear your voice.
An Altar Server assists the priest and deacon during the celebration of the Mass. It is one of the most important ministries in the parish and the position is generally held by our parish youth. When altar server duties are performed well, the liturgy is more beautiful and holy.
An Usher plays a key role as our Parish goal is to have those in attendance experience a wonderful liturgy. Ushers assure the proper flow from the assembly, especially during the collection and Holy Communion. A job done well enriches the worship experience of those present.
A Greeter welcomes each person who comes to Sunday Mass with a smile and warm greeting. A Greeter is the first face of Most Blessed Sacrament Parish and the first impression on all those who enter the doors of our church.
