Join our parish in this unique way to show respect for the dignity and worth of all life.
Outreach, prayer and support for those who are pregnant, celebrating birth or adoption, grieving miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion, infant or child death, and waiting to become pregnant or adopt.
Each rosebud color has a special meaning and has a coordinating tag and prayer card. Rosebuds are displayed in the back of each worship site as a reminder to pray daily for the families represented.
How it Works:
- Remove a rosebud of the appropriate color from the basket.
- Fill out the attached tag with as much or as little information as you desire.
- Place the rose in the vase.
- Take the appropriate prayer card for your personal mediation and reflection.
Our parish intercessory prayer groups will pray daily for families represented by the rosebuds. Prayer intentions will be offered up regularly at Masses. The vases themselves serve as a visual reminder to our entire parish family of the many varied needs of our parish members and as encouragement for us to pray for one another.
Rosebud Color Meanings
Pink: Honoring Pregnancy and Unborn Babies.
❤️ Red: Celebrating Births and Adoptions.
White: Grieving With Families Suffering A Miscarriage, Abortion, Stillbirth, Infant or Child Death.
Yellow: Remembering Those Wanting To Conceive or Adopt.
Blue: Troubled Times.
