Treasurer Trustee Election

A parish trustee is an active, responsible parish member who is called to serve the parish as advisor, overseer, and counselor. In the civil corporate entity of the parish, a trustee is a member of the corporate board and serves as a trustworthy advisor to the pastor/parish director, who is also concerned for the well-being and on-going development of a vibrant faith community. Trustees are informed, involved and concerned about the parish and its members.

The treasurer trustee holds an important role in the parish community as a member of the finance council. The treasurer trustee’s particular area of responsibility is that of assisting the pastor/parish director in parish financial activities, including the care and custody of funds, assets, supervision of banking, credit and insurance.

As pastor, Father Jerry has nominated the following two candidates for the position of Treasurer Trustee of our parish.

Member of MBS (& St. Peter) parish since 1990.
Serves as an usher, lector, and Eucharistic minister at 8:30 AM Mass
Current Treasurer Trustee
Has served as a Treasurer Trustee, Parish Council Member, and Finance Council Member & Member of Finance Council in the past

My wife, Mary and I have been parish members since 1990.

My past education and experience in accounting while serving school districts and nonprofit
helps me understand the financial and building operation side of the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish.

I enjoy traveling, golf, bowling and spending time with family.

I am the proud Dad of seven children. I am now retired and previously was self-
employed for over 30 years owning multiple McDonald’s Restaurants initially in Michigan and finishing my career here in Oshkosh.

The job of our Parish is not financial gain. Our Mission is to Evangelize and bring us all in a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. To accomplish that in this secular world we need to have a stable financial foundation to complete our Mission.

I believe my past business experience coupled with my deep love for our Lord and this Parish make me well suited to effectively be your Trustee/Treasurer. Be assured that I take the responsibility of helping Father Jerry to utilize your donations to our Parish in an effective manner to realize our Mission.

How to Vote:

Ballots will be placed in the pews at Masses this weekend and can be filled out and dropped in the baskets.

If you are not able to attend Mass in person at this time, you may also come to the parish office to vote Mon-Wed from 8AM - 12PM. Final votes will be counted at the close of the office on Wednesday.
